What is the AI brand kit, and how do I use it to keep AI content, social posts, ads and images on brand?
The AI brand kit stores the look and feel of your brand or your client's brand: the logo, images, color palette, typography (fonts), voice and tone, writing style and marketing copy. Once it exists, the AI uses it whenever you tell it to use your brand kit while building something, so you do not have to repeat your colors and style each time and everything comes out consistent.
To create a brand kit:
- Go to the Library and open AI Brand Kit, then click New brand kit. You can also simply ask the AI assistant to create your brand kit.
- Enter the URL of your website or your client's website.
- The AI crawls the site and studies the brand: logo, images, color palette, typography, how the business talks and its marketing copy. It writes a brand kit file with your brand guidelines. It works in real time on any website the system can access, including a brand new one.
You do not have to start from a website. You can use the paste markdown option: ask a tool such as ChatGPT to write a brand kit in markdown (brand voice, colors and so on) and paste it in. You can also fill everything in by hand.
To use it, tell the AI assistant to use your brand kit when it creates something, for example a social media post, a month of social content, an image, a video, a Facebook ad, a funnel, or a new or redesigned website page. When you use AI image or AI video generation in the Library, you can select the brand kit from the list. Images the AI creates are AI generated in the brand's style, not copied from the website.
Content made this way has a consistent look and feel, and your ads can carry the same look all the way down to your landing page. You can create a brand kit for each business you serve as well as for your own agency. The brand kit is a good way to keep a client's design consistent when the client loves their current style.
We recommend creating a brand kit before creating any social media content. If you do not have a good website yet, have the AI redesign it first. You can also tell the AI the specific colors you want, and you can upload your own images to your file library and tell the AI to use those files. The Library also holds the images and videos you generate.
